HAMILTON, Ont. - The Georgian Grizzlies of Barrie scored two early tries and two more late, in their 29-10 win over the Mohawk Mountaineers in OCAA men's rugby at Mohawk Sports Park on Friday.
The Grizzlies, who led 17-3 at halftime, got two tries each from Robin Calamatta and Drew Currie and one from Nana Ntim. Britten Coffin added two converts.
Mohawk's Paul Sandhu scored a long and brilliant try down the left sidelines for the Mountaineers' lone try in the contest. Stephen Lewis converted it and also had a penalty goal.
With the victory, Georgian improved to 3-1 while Mohawk saw its record go to 2-2.
