MOHAWK 27, SENECA 22

HAMILTON, Ont. - Trailing 17-5 in the second half, the Mohawk men's rugby team had to rally with some late tries to defeat the Seneca Sting 27-22 in OCAA action at Mohawk Sports Park on Saturday.

Jaiden Peters scored two tries for the Mountaineers. Jacob Kit and Raynald Zang Eva got the others.

Stephen Lewis had two converts and a penalty goal.

Sting tries came from Johnny Opoku-Mensah, Dylan Quantrell, Luke Travell and Roy Walters, who also added a convert.

Mohawk improved to 2-0, while Seneca slipped to 0-2.
