The number two-seeded Algonquin College Thunder began their quest to the championship title with a 4-0 win over host team, Langara College. The Thunder went on to win their second game 7-1 over the MacEwan College Griffins.

The Algonquin Thunder Men’s Soccer Team made history on the weekend as they won their third consecutive OCAA Championship title and tied Seneca and Mohawk for the most OCAA consecutive titles.

The OCAA 2006 regular season has wrapped up in men's soccer. The Algonquin Thunder grabbed the East Region title with a 7-0-1 record while the Humber Hawks were the top team in the west with a 7-0-1 mark.
