The OCAA 2006 regular season has wrapped up in men's soccer. The
Algonquin Thunder grabbed the East Region title with a 7-0-1 record
while the Humber Hawks were the top team in the west with a 7-0-1
mark.
First-year forward Mike Aigbokie of Humber won the West Region
scoring race notching 15 goals this season and averaging 2.50 GPG.
Out East it was third year striker Joe Maneiro of Algonquin taking
home the scoring title with 15 goals in seven games this season for
an average of 2.14 GPG.
Four quarterfinal games will take place across the province this
weekend with the winning teams earning a spot at the OCAA
Championships, hosted by Sheridan College on October 27-28,
2006.
