HUMBER ONE WIN FROM CCAA MEN'S SOCCER FINAL

EDMONTON - The Humber Hawks men's soccer team is off to a great start at the 2010 CCAA soccer nationals in Edmonton, as they parlayed Nick Cisterno's goal midway through the second half into an opening victory.

The final score was 1-0 for Humber, over the Atlantic Champions UNBSJ Seawolves.

David Ragno recorded the shutout.

Humber dominated the play from the beginning of the game, and came close on a number of occasions. One sequence saw Humber hit the crossbar, then have two more shots, only to see them deflected by Seawolve defenders.

Yousif Yousif was selected as Humber's player of the game.

Humber will play the host NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) on Friday at 1 p.m. ET. A win for the Hawks in that game would ensure their participation in the gold medal game on Saturday.
