ST. CLAIR 3, CONESTOGA 2

KITCHENER, Ont. - The St. Clair College varsity men's soccer regular season got off to a great start on Saturday.

The Saints travelled to Conestoga College to take on the Condors in their first OCAA match of the year and came away with a hard fought 3-2 win.

Conestoga took the lead just seven minutes in until St. Clair tied the score up in the 42nd minute on a goal by Jordan Lidia (Leamington, Ont.). Conestoga went up 2-1 in the 75th minute but the Saints replied quickly on a penalty kick by Brydon Caesar (Ajax, Ont.). St. Clair got the winning goal in the 82nd minute on a tally by Stefan Milidrag (Windsor, Ont.). Justin Danelon (Windsor, Ont.) was solid in goal in picking up the win.

St. Clair will open its home schedule this coming Friday when they host the Mohawk Mountaineers at 4:30 p.m. at the Main Campus field. Admission is free for all soccer matches.
