FLEMING 2, ST. CLAIR 1

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's soccer team suffered a heart breaking loss in their playoff match at the main campus field on Saturday afternoon. The Saints fell to the Fleming Knights by a score of 2-1.

St. Clair got on the board first on a goal by Brad Dos Santos in the 38th minute. The rest of the first half was played fairly evenly. The Saints had several great chances to go up 2-0 early in the second half but could not put the ball in the back of the net.

Fleming scored in the 78th minute to even the score on a scramble in front of the Saints goal.  Fleming then scored the winning goal in the 89th minute to end the Saints season. With the win Fleming advances to the OCAA championship tournament next week in Toronto.

St. Clair is currently ranked fourth in Ontario and in 14th in Canada. The Saints ended their regular season in second place in OCAA West Region with a record of 7-2-1.
