ST. CLAIR 3, CONESTOGA 2

KITCHENER, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's soccer team picked up their first win of the season with a hard fought 3-2 win over Conestoga College on Saturday afternoon in Kitchener, Ont.

After going down 2-0 in the first 10 minutes the Saints hung tough. Still trailing by two in the second half, St. Clair fought back scoring three unanswered goals to pull off the win. Jordan Lidia got the Saints started scoring on a penalty kick. Luke Husbands tied the game up at two and then Lidia scored the winner on a free kick in the 90th minute.

The Saints are now 1-1-1 on the season while Conestoga fell to 0-1-1.

St. Clair is next in action on Saturday when the travel to Ancaster, Ont., to take on the Redeemer Royals.
