Ten Men's Volleyball All-Canadians have been honoured at the 2013 CCAA Ironwood Wealth Management Group Men's Volleyball National Championship.
Each student-athlete is selected by their conference based on their performance and contribution to both their sport and team.
Frankie Edgecombe, Nipissing Lakers
This co-captain has displayed remarkable versatility, playing
three different positions throughout the season due to team
injuries. Frankie has been a great model for younger players, and
together the squad qualified for the 2013 Ironwood Wealth
Management Group CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship.
Shayne Petrusma, Niagara Knights
Shayne has been a dominating player in Ontario West, leading both
his team and the division in scoring. Not only is he a team leader,
he's also been named a tournament MVP, CCAA Athlete of the Month,
and has an excellent academic record.
Phillipe Yeldon, Algonquin Thunder
Phil's intensity and passion for perfection makes him a natural
team leader. Whether it's serving, blocking, passing or attacking,
the OCAA Player of the Year has been instrumental in setting an
example for a young team who finished first in their division.
