BRAMWELL ON BRINK OF BREAKING OCAA ALL-TIME POINTS RECORD

BRAMWELL ON BRINK OF BREAKING OCAA ALL-TIME POINTS RECORD

ETOBICOKE, Ont. - Let the countdown begin! Humber Hawk superstar Terrel Bramwell, a fifth-year player, is on the brink of breaking the all-time OCAA men's volleyball points record, and he could achieve this historical mark on Thursday on home court in a match-up with the Conestoga Condors.

Bramwell's current mark of 1,053 points is just 16 shy of the mark established last season by Keith Marier of College La Cité. He is currently scoring at a rate of six points per set, and if he stays on this pace he will set the new mark.

Should he be unable to get to the magical 17-point mark, he will have another chance to break the record before the December break as the Hawks will play at Niagara on Sunday to close the fall schedule.

He is also closing in on the all-time kills record and could also be in a position to set the new mark this Sunday. His mark of 876 kills is just 34 away from the record, held by Marier. Bramwell has been on quite a tear lately, combining for 50 kills is his last two matches, with 30 against Sheridan and then 20 in just three sets against St. Clair.
