MOHAWK ELIMINATED FROM NATIONAL MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. - The Mohawk Mountaineers missed the chance to go to the bronze medal match at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Volleyball National Championship as they were defeated 3-0 by the Fanshawe Falcons on Saturday, in New Westminster, B.C.

The set scores were 28-26, 25-23, 26-24 and despite the sweep in sets, every single game could have gone either way.

Derek Braun of the Falcons, who had 12 kills, was Fanshawe's Player of the Match.

Mohawk's top player was Max Anderson, who had 19 kills, two aces and five digs. Eric Girard collected 12 kills and six digs, Trevor McLaughlin had seven kills, seven digs and one block, Chris Spack had 37 assists and Ben Tonin came up with 10 digs.
