MOHAWK MEN'S VOLLEYBALL WINS STING CHALLENGE

TORONTO - The Mohawk men's volleyball team, with some key people missing due to injury, won the Sting Challenge men's volleyball championship at Seneca College on Saturday night.

The Mountaineers rallied from two sets down to defeat the Fanshawe Falcons 23-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-23, 16-14.

Nate Delguidice had 26 kills, two aces and two blocks for Mohawk. Mitch McFadden had 11 points and Chris Spack ran his usual efficient offence from his setter position.

Delguidice was named Tournament MVP, while McFadden, Spack and Max Anderson were All-Stars.
