FANSHAWE 3, ST. CLAIR 0

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's volleyball team hosted the Fanshawe Falcons at the Sportsplex on Wednesday night.

In a very intense and exciting match the Saints played well but ended up losing 3-0. All three sets could have gone either way with Fanshawe winning 25-23, 29-27 and 27-25. The Saints offence was spread around well with Jared Niziolek leading the way for St. Clair with nine kills, one stuff block and two digs. Stephen Carter had a big game as well with eight kills, one stuff block and three digs.

With the loss the Saints fell to 3-3 on the season while Fanshawe improved to 5-1. The St. Clair men are currently ranked ninth in the OCAA while Fanshawe is ranked second in Ontario and fifth in Canada.

St. Clair is next in action when they host Conestoga College on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 4 p.m. at the Sportsplex in their final home game of the semester.
