ST. CLAIR BASKETBALL SUITING UP IN CHATHAM

CHATHAM, Ont. - The St. Clair College Men's and Women's Varsity Basketball teams will travel to the new Healthplex in Chatham, Ont. on Friday, Jan. 13 to play their first ever OCAA West Region games in the Thames Campus building against Mohawk College (Hamilton) and start off second semester league play. After already hosting a very successful varsity volleyball doubleheader event in the first semester St. Clair College feels this will be a natural fit for Chatham sports scene.

To help celebrate the event Chatham Mayor and CEO Randy Hope will be on hand along with St. Clair College President, Dr. John A. Strasser for a ceremonial tip-off prior to the Women's Game which is set to start at 6 p.m. The Men's game will immediately follow at 8 p.m. to complete the doubleheader. Admission is free for this special event and each person in attendance will receive a voucher for two slices of pizza along with a water while supplies last. Free draws will give away additional prizes as well a chance at $1000 in the Boston Pizza Shoot for Cash contest at half-time of each game.
