Fanshawe closed the gap to one early in the third quarter but Saints guard Jaide Lyons scored a pair of back-to-back fast break layups, putting the Saints back up by five. St. Clair took a three-point lead, 46-43 into the final quarter of play. Fanshawe took their first lead of the second half with 6:13 left in the game after a steal and lay up by Falcon Larissa McBean.

With the game tied at 58, Fanshawe's Kiera Serodio found Ali Vlassman in the post and Fanshawe took the lead with 47 seconds to go. After some clutch free throw shooting by Fanshawe, the Falcons completed the comeback and the game 64-60.

Fanshawe's McBean finished with a double-double including 19 points and 10 rebounds. St. Clair's Lyons scored 16 for the Saints.
