ST. LAWRENCE (K) 91, LOYALIST 38

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - The St. Lawrence Vikings women's basketball team remains at the top of the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) East Division, with a big 91-38 victory over the Loyalist College Lancers. The win keeps the Vikings in a four-way tie with Algonquin, Centennial, and Durham College for first place in the East.

"We got off to a great start, opening with a three pointer, and that seemed to set the pace for us," said Vikings head coach Remy Simpson.

Lacey Knox and Jackie Rodgerson both finished with 25 points, with Rodgerson going 8-of-9 from the three-point line.

The Vikings have a full week off, and will host the 4-6 George Brown College Huskies on Friday, Jan. 24 at St. Lawrence College. Game time is 6 p.m.
