ST. CLAIR 86, LAMBTON 71

SARNIA, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's basketball team pushed their OCAA west region record to 6-1 with an 86-71 win over Lambton College in Sarnia, Ont., on Friday night. The Saints were up 27-14 after the opening quarter and 44-29 by half-time holding Lambton's shooting percentage to just 27 per cent for the game.

Saints third-year guard Shannon Kennedy (Windsor, Ont./St. Joseph's) had her best game of the season scoring a game-high 22 points and narrowly missing a double-double with nine rebounds.  Kennedy added three assists and four blocked shots to fill the stat sheet.

Fifth-year guard Jaide Lyons (Windsor, Ont./FJ Brennan) continued her fine play scoring 20 points adding four rebounds, three assists and four steals for St. Clair. Nicole Tamm (Windsor, Ont./Holy Names) scored 18 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists and four blocked shots while Rachel Duic (Belle River, Ont./St. Anne) chipped in with 10 points.

Lambton's Rylee Williams (Sarnia, Ont.) had 21 points in a losing cause.
