HAMILTON, Ont. - Jakayla Douse came to the rescue as the Mohawk women's basketball team nipped the Fanshawe Falcons 63-62 in an OCAA nail-biter Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Douse scored a bucket with just over a minute to play at the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre to put the Mountaineers ahead 61-59. But Fanshawe's Ali Vlasman put the Falcons ahead by one point with a basket and successful free throw.
