HUMBER 52, MOHAWK 43

HAMILTON, Ont. - The Humber Hawks ran their record to 6-0 with a 52-43 win over Mohawk in OCAA women's basketball at the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre on Friday.

Mohawk was down 18 points in the third quarter but battled back valiantly and managed to reduce the deficit to just four points, highlighted by a 14-2 run. But Humber's Natalie Hagopian made a couple of key three point shots late, their only successful shots in 16 attempts from beyond the arc. Mohawk was 0-for-9 from three point range.

Hagopian and and Mary Asare each scored 12 points for Humber and Ceejay Nofuente added 11 points and 13 rebounds.

For Mohawk, now 2-2, Jakayla Douse had 11 points and seven rebounds. Careena Browne scored nine points and Sam Pocrnic added seven.
