SARNIA, Ont. - The Mohawk women's basketball team clinched second place in the OCAA West Division on Saturday with a 68-55 victory over the Lambton Lions in Sarnia, Ont.

JenJen Abella led the Mountaineers with 17 points. Brittany Gingrich and Shanien O'Neill scored 11 apiece.

Mohawk head coach Kevin Duffy was pleased with his team's performance, travelling and winning back-to back decisions at St. Clair and Lambton.

The Mountaineers will complete their regular season schedule at home against arch-rival Redeemer Feb. 20.
