BRAMPTON, Ont. - Make it five straight wins for the Mohawk women's basketball team.

The Mountaineers whipped the Sheridan Bruins 73-39 in Brampton, Ont., on Saturday. It was also Mohawk's ninth win in 10 starts and upped their record to 12-3, while Sheridan fell to 2-14.

JenJen Abella had 12 points, eight assists and eight steals to pace the Mountaineers. Stef Hrymak had 18 points and seven rebounds and Monika Batinic produced 10 points and 15 rebounds for Mohawk, which had only eight players to work with.
