2017 CCAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-CANADIANS

EDMONTON - The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association is proud to announce the 2017 CCAA Women's Basketball All-Canadians.

The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2017 CCAA Women's Basketball National Championship at NAIT in Edmonton.

Here are the 2017 CCAA Women's Basketball All-Canadians:

Ceejay Nofuente - Humber Hawks

Nofuente captained the Hawks to an 18-0 record and first-place finish in the OCAA West Division. The OCAA Player of the Year took her dominance to a new level this season, setting OCAA single-season records with 124 assists and 101 steals. The fourth-year point guard also ranked fifth in the CCAA with 21.9 points per game. Nofuente, a two-time CCAA All-Canadian, donates her time to multiple basketball camps and inspires countless young athletes.

Lindsay Panchan - Durham Lords

Panchan is now a three-time CCAA All-Canadian. She led the Lords to an 11-6 record and third straight post-season appearance in the OCAA. Panchan broke the conference single-season record for points with 439. The third-year guard led the OCAA with 25.8 points per game and 131 defensive rebounds. She also ranked third in the conference with 63 steals. Panchan volunteers with the Ontario Basketball Association.
