HUMBER 91, ST. CLAIR 63

TORONTO - The St. Clair College women's basketball team fell victim to Humber College in Etobicoke, Ont., on Sunday afternoon losing 91-63, dropping their record to 7-2 on the season.

The Lady Saints started well defending and controlling the pace to hold a 20-12 lead after the opening quarter. However, Humber responded in the second quarter to seize a 35-33 advantage by the halftime break and exploded for 32 points in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.

Humber held a significant advantage in three-point shooting making good on eight long balls to just three for St. Clair but also scored 24 points off 20 Saints turnovers.

Shannon Kennedy (Windsor, Ont./St. Joseph's) was the only Saint in double figures scoring 21 points adding 11 rebounds for the double-double.
