WELLAND, Ont. - The second semester tipped off for Mohawk in OCAA basketball for the women, at Niagara College on Thursday.

The Mohawk Mountaineers improved their season record to 7-3, with a 95-88 win over the Knights (now 6-4). Mohawk bounced back from a nine point deficit for the victory.

Sam Pocrnic led the way with 38 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Monika Batinic had 11 points and six rebounds and Shanien O'Neil collected 10 points and four boards.
