HUMBER 78, ST. CLAIR 46

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's basketball team were victims to Canada's top team Saturday night at the SportsPlex losing 78-46.

The Lady Saints fell behind 22-10 after the opening quarter but regained their composure in the second frame fashioning a 10-2 run to close to within four points at 28-24. But Humber quickly took back control and led 39-27 at halftime.

St. Clair ran out of gas in the second half surrendering a 27-3 run and could only score seven points in the fourth quarter. Humber tallied 32 points off 27 Saints turnovers and also enjoyed an 18-10 difference in free throw points.

Shannon Kennedy (Windsor/St. Joseph's) led St. Clair with 11 points adding nine rebounds while Aleah Marton (Amherstburg/General Amherst) played a gritty game scoring 10 points to go with 10 rebounds for the double-double. But they were the only Saints to reach double figures.

Humber's Ceejay Nofuente (Toronto) scored a game-high 27 points in the win.
