ST. CLAIR 80, LAMBTON 31

SARNIA, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's basketball team travelled to Sarnia, Ont., on Saturday and came away with an 80-31 afternoon win over Lambton College moving their OCAA West Division record to 6-2.

A strong first quarter lead of 24-10 for the Saints was followed by an anemic offensive output by both teams in the second quarter. Up 31-14 at the break St. Clair picked up the pace in the second half scoring 49 points to just 17 for Lambton. The Saints held the home team to just 25 per cent shooting from the field in the game and forced 26 turnovers scoring 29 unanswered points.

Shannon Kennedy (Windsor/St. Joseph's) and Jana Kucera (Chatham) each scored 15 points for the Saints with both contributing five rebounds apiece. Kennedy added a pair of blocked shots also.

Lambton's Sarah Bate (Sarnia) scored 13 points in the loss.
