ST. CLAIR 5, LAMBTON 0

SARNIA, Ont. - The St. Clair women's soccer team remain undefeated in OCAA league action.

The Saints travelled to Sarnia, Ont., on Wednesday to take on the Lambton Lions and came away with a convincing 5-0. With the win the women now have two wins and two draws on the season. Lambton fell to 0-3 on the season.

St. Clair opened the scoring in the 10th minute on a goal by Brittany Chapieski (Belle River, Ont.) and took a 1-0 lead into halftime. The Saints took over in the second half with two goals by Melanie Daniel (Tecumseh, Ont.), and singles to Alessia Vagnini (Tecumseh, Ont.) and Andie Albert (Melbourne, Ont.). Katrina Arnold (Essex, Ont.) was solid in net in picking up the shutout and win.

St. Clair is next in action on Friday, Sept. 26 when they host the Redeemer Royals at 2:30 p.m. at the main campus soccer field.
