ST. CLAIR 3, REDEEMER 0

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's varsity soccer team hosted the Redeemer Royals on Friday afternoon at the main campus field and came away with a well earned 3-0 win. With the win, the Saints improved their record to three wins and two ties on the season. Redeemer fell to one win and five losses.

Tiffany Trembley (Tecumseh, Ont.) got the Saints on the board with a nice goal in the 32nd minute. Nicole McKenzie (Belle River, Ont.) put St. Clair up 2-0 on a mishandled ball by the Redeemer keeper in the 40th minute. Melanie Daniel (Tecumseh, Ont.) put the game away with a nice tally in the 66th minute. It was Daniel's fifth goal in five games.

Katrina Arnold (Essex, Ont.) was a solid in net in picking up the win and shutout. St. Clair held the edge in possession throughout the match and had 20 attempts on goal compared to only seven for Redeeer. The defence was outstanding for the Saints throughout the match being led by Stefanie Dummer (Windsor, Ont.).

St. Clair will host the Niagara Knights on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in their final regular season home game at the main campus field.
