MONTREAL - The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association is proud to announce the 2016 CCAA Women's Soccer All-Canadians.
The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2016 CCAA Women's Soccer National Championship, hosted by Collège Ahuntsic in Montreal.
Here are the 2016 Women's Soccer All-Canadians:
Tiffany Johnson - Cambrian Golden Shield
The Cambrian captain scored an incredible 28 goals and became the OCAA's all-time leader in career markers with 62. She led the Golden Shield to a 10-2 record and second-place finish in the East Division. The fourth-year forward is committed to all training sessions and team activities and has game-changing ability.
Jade Kovacevic - Fanshawe Falcons
The back-to-back OCAA Player of the Year scored 23 times to lead Fanshawe to a 9-0-1 record and first-place finish in the West Division. The humble Falcons captain scored seven game-winning goals. Kovacevic, who participated in the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Japan, brings a tremendous amount of high-level experience and an incredible work ethic.
