In the first half of the five vs. six placement game, Hailey Martin capitalized on a rare goal-scoring opportunity in this contest late in the first half for the eventual game-winning goal.

The GPRC Wolves were later awarded the CCAA Diana Drury Fair Play Award for their sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Players of the Game were Jenna Robinson (Algonquin) and Brook Robert (GPRC).

CCAA Bronze Semi-Final: NAIT Ooks 3, Algonquin Thunder 0

In the first half, Kaily Mohn scores the first goal for NAIT in the 14th minute of the game, as a result of her cohesive play with Kassy Jajczay in the end zone.

In the second half, a red card for Melissa Harrison forced the Thunder to defend themselves after being down a player. Megan Loyns scores a second goal for NAIT in the 76th minute and CCAA Player of the Year Jajczay adds a third goal to seal NAIT's victory in the 89th minute.
