St. Lawrence made a valiant effort to turn the tide with a light wind at their backs in the second half but their best chance in the 74th minute was turned away by Seneca's goalkeeper Sarah-Anisha Van Wart Bradbury (Brampton, Ont.) to preserve the shutout.

Player of the Game awards were given to Seneca's Christiana Carmosino (Aurora, Ont.) and St. Lawrence's Rachel Fardella (Cobourg, Ont.).
