FANSHAWE ATHLETICS TO HOST OCAA WOMEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

LONDON, Ont. - Fanshawe Athletics is proud to welcome the top four teams in Ontario to the 2021 OCAA Women's Soccer Championship. The event will run from Friday, Oct. 29 to Saturday, Oct. 30 at City Wide Sports Park.

The final four will include two-time reigning OCAA champion and No. 9 nationally ranked Fanshawe (6-0-1, 1st West), No. 15 Humber (6-2-0, 2nd Central), No. 3 Seneca (7-0-0, 1st Central) and No. 13 St. Lawrence (6-0-1, 1st East). Seneca will face St. Lawrence at 11:00 a.m. on Friday in the first semi-final, followed by the Falcons taking on Humber at 2:00 p.m. The winners of each semi-final will compete for the OCAA championship at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the losers will play for bronze at 4:00 p.m.

City Wide Sports Park is located at 1510 Commissioners Rd East and admission will be free to the event. Fans must complete a COVID screening form before attending each day of the championship: https://forms.fanshawec.ca/xfp/form/55.
