The Humber Hawks will join the country’s best female
collegiate volleyball players as they travel to Gatineau,
Québec for the 2010 CCAA Women’s National Volleyball
Championship hosted by Cégep de l’Outaouais from March
12-14th.

The 2010 CCAA Women’s National Volleyball Championship
features the top eight women’s volleyball teams in Canada,
seeding in the following order;
1. University of British Columbia-Okanagan
2. Red Deer College
3. Collège Francois-Xavier-Garneau
4. Vancouver Island University
5. Humber College
6. Grant MacEwan University
7. Mount Saint Vincent University
8. Cégep de l’Outaouais
The CCAA All Canadian Awards Banquet will precede the competition,
beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11th. Shawna Metcalf of
Cambrian and Jennifer Knowles of Mohawk will be honoured as CCAA
All-Canadians. Metcalf is also nominated for the CCAA Player of the
Year, while Trent's Peter Carter is nominated for the CCAA Coach of
the Year.
The competition will begin on the following day, March 12th, and
will run through Saturday, March 14th. The schedule is as
