GEORGIAN WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SEASON COMES TO AN END

OSHAWA, Ont. - After a long and successful road the Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball season wrapped up Saturday at the 2014 OCAA Women's Volleyball Championship hosted by Durham College in Oshawa, Ont.

Playing against their nemesis this season the Trent Excalibur, the Grizzlies couldn't find a way to flip their fortune to the team that beat them twice in the regular season. While Georgian battled hard the entire match in the end they fell 3-0 to the eventual OCAA bronze medalists by scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-23.

Hannah Campbell (Midland, Ont.) was named the game MVP for Georgian who along with teammate Erin McClean (Barrie, Ont.) both had six kills in the contest.

The Grizzlies still had a tremendous season with great accomplishments all around and in the end their only loses at the provincials were to teams that went on to medal at the event.
