SENECA FALL SHORT IN UPSET BID AT CCAA WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL NATIONALS

NORTH YORK, Ont. - The final match of Day 1 at the CCAA Women's Volleyball National Championship featured the host Seneca Sting seeded No. 8 versus the No. 1-ranked team in the nation, Cegep Garneau. The host team managed to fill the stands with local supporters and surprised the No. 1 seeded team from Quebec with a first set victory.

Cegep Garneau found another gear in the second set and never looked back, winning the next three sets and the match (23-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-14).
