OSHAWA, Ont. - The Mohawk women's volleyball team had mixed results on day one of the Adidas Cup tournament at Durham College in Oshawa on Saturday.

The Mountaineers drew 1-1 with Georgian in their opening match. The scores were 13-25 and 25-18.

Mohawk then dropped a pair of decisions, 11-25 and 17-25 to St. Clair and 20-25 and 15-25 to Canadore.

However, the Mountaineers won their final match of the day, 25-23 and 25-17 over George Brown.

Mohawk continues pool play Sunday at 10 a.m. against Niagara and then Centennial at 12 p.m.

If they qualify, medal play will start at 1 p.m.
