OAKVILLE, Ont. - The Mohawk women's volleyball squad played well against the reigning OCAA silver medalists, but were still swept 23-25, 16-25, 22-25 by the Durham Lords, in their opening match in the 2015 Fred Wannamaker Invitational tournament hosted by Sheridan College.

Yvonne Mann led the Mountaineers with 17 assists and Natalie Przerwa had five kills, three service aces and three stuff blocks.

Mohawk will next meet Conestoga Saturday at 9 a.m.
