ST. CLAIR 3, FANSHAWE 1

LONDON, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's volleyball team travelled to London, Ont., on Wednesday to take on the Fanshawe Falcons.

The Saints came away with a huge win upsetting the Falcons by a score of 3-1. Game scores for St. Clair were 16-25, 25-22, 25-18 and 25-22 . Shalena Horst led the way with 12 kills, three service aces and six digs. Sara Yablonsky also had a solid game with seven kills, five stuff blocks, one service ace and three digs.

With the win St. Clair improved its season record to 5-4 while Fanshawe fell to 8-3. Fanshawe is ranked fifth in the OCAA while the Saints just recently slipped out of the Top 10.

The Saints are now off for the exam and holiday break and will return to action on Jan. 2-3 when they travel to Oshawa, Ont., to take part in the Durham College Adidas Cup tournament.
