WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College volleyball teams opened their OCAA regular season schedule at home on Saturday afternoon against the Redeemer Royals.
The St. Clair women started their season on a positive note defeating the Royals 3-1. After getting off to a slow start and dropping set one 25-23, the Saints picked their game up a notch winning the next three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-13.
Kaila Crough led the way for St. Clair with 13 kills, one stuff block and four digs. Setter Madison Trotter had a solid match with two kills, 27 assists, three service aces and eight digs.
St. Clair's next match is on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. when they host Niagara College at the Sportsplex.
