2012 CCAA CROSS COUNTRY ALL-CANADIANS

2012 CCAA CROSS COUNTRY ALL-CANADIANS

The 2012 CCAA Cross-Country Running All-Canadians have been honoured at the 2012 CCAA Cross-Country Running National Championships awards banquet hosted by Champlain St Lambert in St Lambert, Que.

Each award recipient is selected by their individual conference based on their performance and contribution to both their sport and their team.

Stephanie Braithwaite, Seneca Sting
Looked upon as a team leader, Stephanie's positive attitude helped her beat her personal best by over one minute at the 2012 OCAA Championships, placing second.

Andrew deGroot, St. Clair Saints
Andrew's performance is credited with lifting the profile of the St Clair Saints squad in a very short time; he is the 2012 OCAA Championship's individual silver medallist.

Darian Limb, Humber Hawks
Described as 'a coach's dream' who works hard on and off the field, Darian's rookie year saw the Hawks' women's team earn a first-place finish at the OCAA championship.

Richelle Moore, St Lawrence Kingston Vikings
Despite the fact she only starting running at St Lawrence Kingston, Moore has become one of the most decorated female athletes to attend the institution. She earned bronze at last year's 2011 CCAA Cross-Country Running National Championships.

Clint Smith, Fanshawe Falcons
Clint is a hard worker dedicated to everything he does, and it pays off; the 2012 OCAA individual champion has finished with a medal at the past two CCAA national championships.

Sean Sweeney, George Brown Huskies
Sean put his best efforts into both athletics and academics. His four years with the Huskies have earned him gold, silver and bronze medals.
