ETOBICOKE, Ont. - Six runners will represent Mohawk College at the New Balance Toronto Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Cross Country Running National Championships Saturday (Nov. 9).

The Mountaineers runners are all from the men's team, which finished fourth in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) championships in Ancaster, Ont. on Oct. 26. Jessie Wilcox, Kevin Patterson, Hassan Ishaq, Johannes Louw, Bradley Wilcox and Ryan Gagnon will compete in the event, hosted by Humber College and to be staged through the scenic Humber Arboretum at the back of the College's North Campus in Etobicoke.

Five-time defending Ontario men's champion Fanshawe College, is also the reigning national champ.

The women's five kilometre race begins at 11 a.m. The men's 8 km event starts at 12 p.m.
