LONDON, Ont. - The Fanshawe women's and men's cross country teams hosted the Fanshawe Invitational races this past weekend at the Fanshawe conservation area. It was a very successful weekend with a number of great finishes.
In the women's race, Fanshawe's Morgan Hendriks and Nicole Barnardi finished first and second individually with almost identical times of 20:06 and 20:07, respectively. As a team, the Falcons finished fourth overall.
In the men's race, Fanshawe's Seth Marcaccio finished second individually, just three seconds behind the winner. Ryan Foott also had a great race, finishing fourth. The men's team finished second overall.
The teams will head to Kingston, Ont., this weekend for the St. Lawrence Invitational.
