ST. CLAIR 3, LAMBTON 0

SARNIA, Ont. - On Wednesday evening, the St. Clair Saints (6-1-1) travelled to Sarnia to take on the Lambton Lions (3-5) and came away with a convincing 3-0 win.

The Saints are currently ranked No. 10 in Canada and No. 3 in Ontario. St. Clair is tied for first place in the OCAA West Division with the Fanshawe Falcons. Both teams have two matches remaining including wrapping up the season against each other on Wednesday, Oct. 19. The Saints have scored 22 goals and allowed six in eight matches.

St. Clair got off to a great start with Stefan Milidrag scoring in the 11th minute to put the Saints up 1-0. Milidrag notched his second of the game to make it 2-0 in the 31st minute. Milidrag now has eight goals in eight games and is tied for first in OCAA goal scoring.

Petar Stevkovski made it 3-0 in the 90th minute of play. The Saints dominated play for most of the match ending up with an 18-7 edge in shots on goal and a 30-12 advantage in shots attempted. Shawn Hunter got the win and clean sheet in goal.

The St. Clair men are next in action when they host the Redeemer University Royals on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Main Campus Field. The Royals are currently 3-3-2 on the season but the Saints only loss of the season came to the Royals in the first match of the season.
