BRAMPTON, Ont. - The Mohawk women's basketball team upped its record to 2-0, defeating the winless Sheridan Bruins 83-52 in OCAA action in Brampton on Tuesday night.

Sam Pocrnic had 21 points while Shanien O'Neil added 20 for the winners.

Mountaineers head coach Kevin Duffy said the team was able to push the ball well and get some easy buckets.

"It was nice to get all of our players some minutes," said Duffy. "When you have so many new bodies like we do and the more we have people play, the better we will gel as the season progresses."

Sheridan's record dropped to 0-4.
