Lancers Fall to Grizzlies on the Road

After an impressive season opener at home, where the Loyalist Lancers swept the La Cité Coyotes 3-0, the team faced a tough challenge on the road against the Georgian Grizzlies in Barrie. Despite a solid effort, the Lancers fell 3-0 to a strong Grizzlies squad.

Liam Hill made a return to the lineup and led the team with 10 kills, providing a much-needed offensive push. The Lancers controlled their serve effectively with only 9 errors throughout the match, but the Grizzlies' serve receive proved challenging, allowing them to generate a strong offense and keep the pressure on. Georgian's serve was a key factor, recording 10 aces despite 16 service errors.

The Lancers aim to bounce back as they continue their northern road trip on Sunday, October 27th, when they travel to North Bay to take on the Canadore Panthers.
