A 3-1 (27-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-22) win over the Niagara Knights ensures that Mohawk Mountaineers men's volleyball are still in play for the OCAA West fourth seed and a home playoff game.

The win was Mohawk's third consecutive and 10th of the season, putting them in a tie with the Redeemer Royals for fourth.

Redeemer closing out their season on Thursday and the Mountaineers have one last match next Saturday which will determine playoff seeding.

This late season run by Mohawk has been impressive as they build momentum going into playoffs.

"We're buying in and playing to complete the sets on our terms," said head coach Brad McClure. "Tonight, our blocking and offensive execution were the big differentiators."

Anthony Beijes (Hamilton, ON) led Mohawk with 15 kills.

The Mountaineers season concludes on Feb. 11 inside the DBARC versus the Fanshawe Falcons at 3 p.m.
