St. Clair College Men’s Baseball Begin 2021 OCAA Season on Road

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men's Baseball team begin their 2021 OCAA season on the road Friday when the travel to London to face Fanshawe College. 

The winningest baseball program in the 7-year history of the OCAA will sport a new look roster and coaching staff eager to avenge their bronze medal the last time the league was in action.  The Saints have won five of the first seven provincial gold medals and regular season pennants but settled for silver and bronze the last two years of competition. 

Returning to the Saints line-up is 4th year outfielder/first baseman Brendan Renaud (Amherstburg, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova) who was a 2019 league all-star selection.  He is joined by fellow veterans including 5th year pitcher/outfielder Austin Oulds (Chatham, ON), 3rd year pitcher Evan Ferguson (Windsor, ON/St. Joseph's), 4th year infielder/catcher Patrick Kibble (Windsor, ON/Riverside), 3rd year pitcher Michael Hamlin (Harrow, ON/Essex District) and 2nd year second baseman Carter Reh (Harrow, ON/Kingsville).

Rookie additions to the roster that are looking to make contributions are 6'0" shortstop/third baseman Joshua Anderson (Ajax, ON), 6'1" left-handed pitcher Cam O'Reilly (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), 5'10" second baseman Riley Briggs (Whitby, ON) and 6'0" outfielder Hayden Sitko (Davison, Michigan).

6'0" catcher Henry Real (Panama City, Panama) will have a steady hand behind the plate for St. Clair and bringing some more veteran presence are 6'4" pitcher Jacob Rajsigl (Windsor, ON/Holy Names) and 5'11" first baseman Colin Robinson (Windsor, ON/Kennedy). 

Former assistant coach and Saints alumni player Roberto Duncan takes over as Head Coach who will see his first OCAA league action at the helm after a short pre-season that included a pair of wins in three games over the University of Windsor club team. 

The doubleheader on Friday begins at 5:00pm with game two slated for 7:30pm at Dan Pulham Field in London.
