LANCERS STUMBLE ON THE ROAD

The Lancers suffered a quick 3 set loss to the George Brown Huskies in Toronto Saturday afternoon. 

Despite falling 25-22, 25-16 & 25-17, the Lancers came away with the game with a number of positive outcomes. The team turned in a significantly improved performance from the service line and received solid showings from Ashley MacDonald, Rachel Cole & Paula Bailey.

MacDonald was quick and efficient in the front row with big blocks that helped slow down the Huskies' offense and allow the Lancers time to create plays. Cole was effective on both the serve receive and defensive end while Bailey put up a consistent & tough offense.

The Lancers get back in action Saturday January 25th when they travel to Barrie to take on the Georgian Grizzlies.
