Mohawk Mountaineers men's soccer lost 6-0 on Friday night to the Redeemer Royals.

The game remained tied throughout the first half, until the Royals opened the scoring in the 45th minute.

"We were playing quite well during the first half," said head coach Jordan Brown. "Nevertheless, we lost concentration for one moment and Redeemer scored."

Despite giving up six goals, goalkeeper Oliver Steinke (Dundas, ON) still managed to make eight saves in the match.

The Mountaineers close out their regular season home schedule on Oct. 12 when they host the Sheridan Bruins at Tim Hortons Field for an 8 p.m. start.
