Women's Volleyball Take Down Redeemer

(Windsor, ON)- The St. Clair women's volleyball team continued their OCAA regular season schedule on Friday night at the Sportsplex and came away with a convincing 3-0 win over the Redeemer University Royals (Ancaster).

Set scores for St. Clair 25-22, 25-21, and 25-20.

Second year outside hitter Kiana Huggins (London; Saunders) led the way offensively for the Saints with 12 kills, 2 services aces, and 5 digs. Rookie middle Geneva Huisman (Amherstburg; Marantha Christian) had a big game as well with 7 kills, and 1 stuff block.

With the win St. Clair improved to 11-3 on the season while Redeemer fell to to 7-7. The Saints are currently ranked 4th in Ontario while the Royals are 10th.

The Saints are back in action on Saturday, February 4th at 1 pm when they host the Cambrian Golden Shield in their second last home game of the regular season
